Rabbi Idit Solomon is the founder and CEO of Hasidah. Her background spans from corporate America, accounting and technology to Jewish summer camps, synagogue boardrooms and executive leadership. Rabbi Solomon also worked for the Ohio State University Hillel as the campus rabbi.

Prior to becoming a Jewish professional, Rabbi Solomon was a systems analyst specializing in accounting and worked for a large corporation as well as for a privately held company. She holds a B.S. in Applied Science from Miami University and earned her Master’s of Jewish Education and ordination from HUC-JIR in Los Angeles.

Rabbi Solomon has served on boards and committees of numerous organizations including synagogue boards , Columbus, Jewish Day School, Agudas Achim chevra kaddisha, Columbus Board of Rabbis, and several Interfaith coalitions. She is also the co-founder of a Rosh Hodesh group in Los Angeles and Minyan Nedava in Columbus, Ohio.

Rabbi Solomon founded Hasidah with her husband after experiencing years of infertility and recognizing that no organization existed to address the need for awareness, network navigation and financial assistance for all Jews. Her experiences working in Jewish pastoral care settings, developing community change initiatives, and serving in leadership and executive roles inspired her to put her skills towards what she believes to be a most worthy goal: providing people with needed resources to manage experiences of infertility and helping them to build Jewish families.
